Food Connect
One of the best features of the Food Connect website is the provision of recently submitted recipes from registered members and with it there is also provision on the method of making the food and its image. For instance, the recently added recipe is of Fabulous Nanaimo Bars. So, in the preparation of the Fabulous Nanaimo Bars, you will need the base. For this, you will require half a cup of butter without any salt, three tablespoon of white sugar, three tablespoon of cocoa powder, one lightly beaten egg, two cups of cracker crumbs, and one cup of dry shredded coconut and three fourth cups of chopped walnuts. For the filling, you will need four tablespoon of unsalted butter, two tablespoon of custard powder, one teaspoon of extract vanilla and three tablespoon of milk with two cups of icing sugar. For the topping, you have to take three squares of baking chocolate and one tablespoon of butter. The method requires you to grease a nine inch pan and line it with a plastic wrap of butter paper. The paper is available in the market. Mix all of the base ingredients until they blend thoroughly and press it firmly into the pan. Keep it in the refrigerator for one hour. At the same time, for the filling part, make a cream of the butter, vanilla extract, custard powder milk and icing sugar. Add all this until the mixture is smooth. Then spread this mixture over the chilled base and return the same to the refrigerator and chill it again for another one hour. As for the toppings, you can melt the chocolate with the butter and stir it until they blend and pour this thick mixture of chocolate to cover the filling entirely. Then, leave it to cool for ten minutes and mark the chocolate with a knife. Again, refrigerate it until it is set. Ultimately, you can divide the cake into as many as 18 squares and serve the chilled bars to your family and friends. For more information or queries, you can visit the weblink.
